Directions For Use

Pre-Treatment Note: Always adjust your pool's pH between 7.2 and 7.4 prior to shocking. For daily operations, maintain: free available chlorine 1.0 - 3.0 ppm, total alkalinity 80-120 ppm, and calcium hardness 200-300 ppm. Do not enter the pool until your chlorine residual drops back down to 1.0 - 3.0 ppm.

1. Routine Maintenance & Super-Chlorination

Broadcast evenly over a large area of the pool surface (mainly in the deep end) at a rate of 65 g per 10,000 L of pool water.

• Water under 27°C: Super-chlorinate every 14 days.

• Water over 27°C / Heavy Swimmer Loads / After Heavy Rain: Treat every 7 days, or whenever an unpleasant chlorine smell or eye irritation occurs.

2. Severe Algae Treatment

If the pool turns green or develops a slimy feeling, broadcast directly over the affected areas at a rate of 130 g per 10,000 L.

• Note: Avoid prolonged contact with pool surfaces to prevent staining or bleaching. Immediately after broadcasting, thoroughly scrub the algae growth off walls and floors, vacuum, and run the filter cycle continuously. Repeat if necessary.

3. Initial Pool Start-Up

For the first chlorination of the season, add 65 g per 10,000 L. Allow 5 minutes for the granular shock to disperse, then test the water. Repeat this dosage until a consistent baseline of 1.0 ppm of free chlorine is achieved.

4. Winterizing & Closing

While the water is still clear and clean, prepare for long periods of disuse by gradually applying 390 g per 10,000 L. Run the filter until dispersion is complete, cover the pool, and winterize your equipment according to manufacturer directions.

Storage and Safe Handling

Keep product completely dry in its tightly closed container when not in use. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from open heat or flame. Do not reuse empty containers. Rinse the empty bag thoroughly with water to dissolve all remaining material before recycling or discarding.
